Project Hope Program
This is an educational based class for women or men who are requesting to drop charges on the person with whom they filed Assault charges against. This class is given once a month. It is offered to women only on the second Thursday of each month and to men only on the second Friday of each month. The class is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and cost $50.00 (cash or money orders are the accepted form of payment). The individual taking the class must contact Nicole Benson at 972-422-2911 ext. 215 to register for the class over the phone.
Upon completion of the class, the individual will receive a certificate of completion and will be asked to provide a disclosure to Hope's Door. This disclosure is required so that Hope's Door may provide your attendance information to the District Attorney's office. During your time in the class, you will be asked to provide information regarding the circumstances and events that took place during the incident.
